The hotel is located well (8 minutes of walk to the Main Square). Its rooms are very pleasant and clean. I recommend having morning coffee at the top-floor restaurant offering a view of the Wawel Hill. Its service is very nice and helpful – I honestly recommend it!

History

The history of the building, which currently houses the KOSSAK HOTEL has its beginning in the 1930s. Its architectural design dates back to 1931, however, the tenement house itself was erected in 1935.

In the 1960s, the “Jubilat” Department Store – the first store of this kind in Krakow – was built nearby. It was directly adjacent to the building.

In 1995, the tenement house owned by the Jewish family of Wasserberg was sold to the Ostachowski family, i.e. its current owners.

In 2007-2009, the tenement house was adapted to serve as a hotel. In April 2009, this luxurious seven-storey hotel was put into service. Today, you can visit one of the most modern and original recreation facilities in Krakow – the Kossak Hotel.
